Mardi Gras (French for Fat Tuesday) is the final day of Carnival, the three day period preceding the beginning of Lent, the Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday immediately before Ash Wednesday, and over time the entire three day period has come to be known in many areas as Mardi Gras. Feather boas are a time honored tradition for Mardi Gras, and these are great for the occasion. We love them and we hope you do too, but please remember that these are an economy accessory item, and some shedding is normal.
