Why We're Better:
We hope that you have some time to dedicate to reading this, because you won't believe the list of attributes that go into ensuring that your purchase experience is the very best that you have had on eBay and 

It all begins with the checkout. The checkout system allows you to specify a delivery address - home or gift address - and apply that to your purchase. Once it knows where the package is going, it knows what shipping options to provide you, whether you have to pay tax (we have a legal tax nexus in several states), and where to have the package shipped once the payment is received and processed. All customers must complete a checkout, and can then complete their payment.

Once you have completed your payment, you will get a payment confirmation Emailed to you. If you are paying with Paypal you will also get a Paypal Email confirmation, but we highly encourage you to ignore that - because again, we are better. The payment confirmation you receive from us will have the ACTUAL address you specified for shipping, and the ACTUAL amount paid for shipping and tax if applicable. At current Paypal is unable to provide this level of detail, so their Email will always have your registered address, and anything that is not 'item cost' is grouped into 'shipping'.

Our orders download live-time, so we are not at the mercy of things like internet or even power outages. That is how we can guarantee that 100% of our orders will ship within 1 business day.  All express orders are processed immediately and ship same day if they are placed before the last postal pickup of the day.  We do our best to ship as many other orders as possible on the same day also. 

From there your order will be professionally picked, packaged, and shipped by our experienced and expert staff. The staff at our dedicated shipping facility will carefully determine the appropriate packaging to meet any special needs for your parcel, and where possible, parcels are actually upgraded at no cost to you. While we do not tout this in our postings because it would be difficult to explain to non-qualifying customers without causing them to feel left out, the actual cost difference between a 1-2 pound Parcel Post package and a 1-2 pound Priority package is minimal. Since we are going through all this trouble to make sure this is your best transaction ever, we thought what the heck - we'll just ask the warehouse to upgrade all qualifying orders.  Yes, we automatically upgrade hundreds of shipments a day from standard to priority service at no charge to our customers.

What happens next is actually the most impressive part. Our system downloads the address you entered in checkout, compares it to the USPS and Fedex databases of deliverable addresses, and actually corrects and spelling, formatting, and other obvious errors. "Hwy" becomes "Highway", "8 st s" becomes "8th Street South" - and actually based on your zip code if you had just put "8 st" it would know that it should be south and again, it would change to "8th Street South". That might seem a little silly at first, but the first time it saves you from getting a returned package you'll realize exactly how spectacular it really is! The other thing it will do is pull the full 9-digit zip code (did you even realize you have a 9-digiti zip code???). So "90210" becomes "90210-2386" or some such number. And you ask why that is important? Because that is the carrier route, and it actually enables the USPS to sort your package more quickly, shaving up to an entire day off the delivery time! And once we have gone through all that trouble to save that time, we figured we might as well go the whole 9-yards, and we barcode the whole thing. Again - what does that do? It makes it so that the USPS can actually automate the sorting of your package entirely, which again saves up to an entire day off the delivery process. Yes, wow again. While we ALWAYS recommend upgrading your shipping service if there is a critical timeline looming, for shipments without dire deadlines, it is great to know that many of our Parcel Post shipments are actually delivered before our competitions' Priority packages!

Payment & Checkout
We are proud to accept credit cards like Visa, Master Card, and American Express, as well as PayPal, and money order payments in US dollars sent through the mail.  If you are purchasing through a channel partner like eBay or Amazon, please note that those marketplaces control the payment flow, and limit the payment methods we are able to offer to our customers there.  All purchases will receive instant notification of purchases. These notifications can be blocked by anti-spam measures, so we encourage all customers to complete the checkout immediately when purchasing. Credit cards such as Visa, MasterCard and American Express can be processed via Paypal and Google Checkout.

Shipping:
Each item has specific shipping alternatives listed. Our shipping costs closely match those incurred for packaging, labor, and postage charges. All packages ship from our warehouse in Tonawanda (Buffalo) New York, via USPS (United States Post Office) or Fedex. You will receive notification of package shipping within 1-business day of completing your purchase. 

Please choose the shipping alternative that best suits your need upon checkout. We ship approximately 50% of our orders on the same day they are received, so in many cases we cannot change shipping service levels because orders have already been processed.

Below are the time-in-transit estimates for the shipping services we offer. To calculate your anticipated delivery time, first determine the date your package will ship out, and then add the number of business-days in transit starting from the following day (the day a package ships is not considered the first day in transit):

DOMESTIC SHIPPING:
Economy (Parcel Post & First Class): 6-10 business days in transit

Expedited (Priority): 3-4 business days in transit

Express: 1 business day 

• Next business day to most locations. In some rural destinations it can be 2-days in transit. Please confirm when placing your order. USPS and Fedex may require authorized signatures to release packages, so all express shipments should be sent to a confirmed location where someone will be available to provide a signature.

Canadian First Class Mail: 10-15 business days (2-3 weeks)

Canadian Priority Post: 6-10 business days (1-2 weeks)

Please note that our commitment to you is that we will ship to the address provided by the shipping service selected. The timelines provided above are estimates, and do not constitute a guarantee of delivery. If the address provided is undeliverable, or the service selected will not guarantee arrival within the timelines required, we must ask that customers recognize these issues. As well, we know that many customers specify a delivery address where they are not personally available to receive the package. For all such shipments, when the tracking indicates that the package has reached the delivery destination, the order is considered successfully delivered.

Tax:
Being located in Tonawanda NY we are obligated to charge state and county sales tax of 8.75% to state residents. Please note that this is a legal obligation, as this transaction will be deemed to have occurred in Tonawanda 14150. As we have grown over the past 10 years, we have established a physical presence and tax nexus in 10 states, and are now required to collect and remit taxes for these states also.  We are not responsible for collecting customs or duties related to international shipping.

Combined Shipping Discounts:
It is our pleasure to offer combined shipping discounts! We want you to come back and shop as often as you like, and this is our way of showing our appreciation for your business. When purchasing more than 1 item, shipping is automatically discounted to rock bottom rates based on the combined weight of the items in your shopping cart, and your shipping destination.  10 out of 10 birdies agreed that our rates are cheap cheap cheap!

Terms of Sale:
Purchase and payment to BlockBuster Costumes, LLC shall constitute an offer.  Acceptance of the offer is deemed to occur when the order has shipped.  Shipping updates are provided by manual system updates, and BlockBuster Costumes, LLC will endeavor to complete such updates within 1 business day.  The delay of such updates will not affect the status of acceptance.  Once an offer has been made, it cannot be revoked until accepted or rejected by BlockBuster Costumes, LLC.  Once accepted, all sales are final. BlockBuster Costumes, LLC sells to adults only, and unless otherwise expressly stated, the minimum age recommended for the majority of products on our website in 12 years of age. The minimum recommended age for adult products is 18 years of age. Due to the intimate nature of many of the items we sell, we are unable to accept returns.  We will do our best to work with our customers, and we ask that our customers work with us in arriving to a fair conclusion to any and all potential issues.

Returns & Exchanges:
In the unfortunate circumstance of an item being received damaged or defective, please contact customer service through CustomerService@blockbustercostumes.com and we will work with you on getting a replacement.  Refunds will be only offered if the item is out of stock or no longer available.  In some cases we will need the item returned back to us and may ask at our discretion. We require this under circumstances where we feel the need to inspect the product for damage and work with our suppliers on the issue.

Please note that we work very hard to ensure that our customers receive their purchases with the best experience possible.  We ask our customers to understand that once an item has shipped, we have invested in the transaction.  As such, if there are no anomalies with the purchase (e.g. if you receive the correct item, all contents are accounted for, it is in the condition you expect, and we have met the terms of the purchase), we ask that you keep this in mind when requesting returns.

We are happy work out amicable resolutions with any customer who asks, and we hope that you share that spirit.  It is usually more of a win/win to work together in resolving an issue via exchange or courtesy credit.  Please note that we can never recover shipping and handling charges, so we are unable to refund these charges under any circumstances once an order has shipped.  

For returns we will need to be contacted to process a return within 30 days of your invoice date. In cases where we request and receive the product back in it's original packaging like new condition, we will issue a refund via the original payment method for 80% the item price. This is due to a 20% restocking fee. that we keep to cover our costs picking, shipping and then processing the return on the item. If you did not open the shipping packaging we can issue a 90% refund minus a 10% restocking fee. The credit will be processed within 14 days from when we receive said item.   

Please note that we provide very detailed information about the sizes of the costumes we sell on our website.  Please check our posted size chart for a complete and detailed list of all costume sizes for boys, girls, teens, men, women, babies, and even pets.  Misunderstandings of costume sizes lead to more requests for exchanges than any other issues, so please be sure to review in detail and ask us if you have any questions.  We are here to help!

BlockBuster Costumes also reserves the right to resolve marketplace errors by cancelling and/or refunding orders, and we will not be held accountable for errors in description and/or price on 3rd party marketplaces.

Your satisfaction is our top priority. If you are dissatisfied for any reason please let us know before resorting to negative feedback. Your concerns will be addressed. Positive feedback is left for our customers automatically upon receipt of their positive feedback. Neutral and negative feedback comments ARE NOT necessary. We will always go above and beyond to fulfill our commitments, but because we rely on the USPS and other partners there is always a chance that something will go wrong. What is the condition of the products you sell?
All of our items are new in package, directly from the manufacturers.

Can I buy more of these at the same price?
Yes and no. If you have purchased from our website or Amazon, then we can certainly sell you another at the same price, and discount the shipping of the second item by 50%! If you have purchased through eBay or through an auction, then you can win another item for the same price if you like, or you can purchase immediately through our website, Amazon, or eBay stores.
What payment methods do you accept?
We are pleased to accept credit cards like Visa, MasterCard and American Express, as well as Paypal and Money Orders or certified checks in USD! 
Do you combine shipping for multiple auctions?

What are my shipping costs?
Shipping charges for all items are listed in the shipping sections of the product pages and in the shopping carts. Please carefully choose the appropriate shipping method from the options available at checkout because it cannot be changed after payment.  
How long does shipping take?
All orders received before 8AM EST are shipped same day.  All express orders received by 2PM EST are shipped same day.  We do our best to get as many orders out on the same day they are purchased.  Orders that do not ship the same day will ship the following business day. 
Do you charge sales tax?
Sorry - Sometimes there is just no way around it. We charge in-state New York residence the New York State and county sales tax for Tonawanda 14150.
