William Jefferson "Bill" Clinton (born William Jefferson Blythe on August 19, 1946) was the forty-second President of the United States, serving from 1993 to 2001. Before his presidency he served nearly twelve years as the 50th and 52nd Governor of Arkansas. He was the third-youngest person to serve as president, and is known as the first baby boomer president. In his second term he was impeached by the U.S. House for perjury, obstruction of justice, and abuse of power in relation to a scandal with a White House intern, but was subsequently acquitted by the United States Senate and remained in office to complete his term.
