Oy Vey! These Russian style Strommel hats with payes are a great accessory for Orthodox Jewish, Rabbi's, and Russian costumes! Hat is approx 11" diameter and 4" tall covered in black fur, with hair-like payes that are about 7". Great on their own, even better with the other costumes and accessories in our store!

looks authentic -- great costume!
I purchased this for a theatrical revue in which I'm appearing in March. The costume's perfect for a musical number in which I'm included - the song "Tradition," from Fiddler on the Roof. The costume fit well and adds to my character.

Almost perfect!
The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because it had been stored flat for so long that it had become permanently out-of-round. My head is significantly smaller, so it's a lot like wearing a small canoe. Still, I recommend it for anybody with a shtreimel need and a light wallet.
