The tomahawk used today hasn't changed much since when it was first created. Originally created by Native Americans using wood and stone, the tomahawk quickly became a tool used for both everyday use and fighting. In style, the tomahawk differs from the hatchet by having a straight handle and a poll (the side opposite of the blade) which was fashioned into a hammer end, spike, or a pipe. This tomahawk toy is dressed in plains Native American fashion. Please note: this is a costume accessory and not a real functioning tomahawk. Measures 19" long by 6" wide at the blade. This is great on its own, but could be even better with the other costumes and accessories available in our store!
